Drawing on Employment – Neurodivergence in the Neurotypical Workplace

Drawing on Employment is a workshop for autistic and other neurodivergent workers and job seekers presented by the UK Human Development Institute’s Innovative Supports for Autistic Workers project.

Four autistic artists will share employment related comics and lead participants in finding creative ways to tell their own stories of working while neurodivergent.

Participation is strictly limited to 12 neurodivergent adults 18 and over.

During this workshop you will:
– Learn how neurodivergent people have used comics to tell their stories about employment.
– Talk about your own experiences at work or looking for a job.
– Practice telling your story in fun, creative ways.
No drawing skills needed!
No disclosure required!*
Minimal work experience required!**
*Other forms of creative expression are encouraged.
