2023-2024 Training Dates

Greetings,

As we prepare for thorough and effective trainings this school year, we want to keep you updated on training dates and registration procedures.

All trainings will begin and end on local time zone.

It is mandatory all new and returning Employment Specialists attend training. You must stay for the entirety of the training. If you cannot attend your assigned training date, you must attend a makeup training. Dates and time TBD on, as needed basis. You cannot bill for any services provided until you attend training. To clarify, Employment Specialists are staff providing CWTP services directly to students and billing VR. The Primary CWTP Contact is the assigned contact that will work with the Employment Specialist by reading and signing documentation to verify services provided. Any other school staff and OVR personnel are welcome to attend.

2 Day training for New Employment Specialists: New Employment Specialist– Individual, recently hired by the school system to provide services to students participating in the CWTP. This individual has not attended a mandatory 2-day training for New Employment Specialists.
