Responsibilities: Guide and support TA processes for Quality Coaches and STAR Raters using recommended practices. Ensure reliability across all four ERS tools with Regional QCs and Raters.
Experiences: 36 years in early care and education field as teacher/administrator/trainer, mostly in non-profit settings. 20 years as early care Quality Support staff, 5 years as Quality Coordinator and 15 years as Quality TA Specialist.
Reason: Quality early care experiences are essential for the development of our youngest children. Combining my college education with practical experiences I learned in the field as teacher/administrator, and the knowledge I have gained during the past 21 years with Kentucky’s Quality Rating and Improvement System , has made me more aware of the need to support quality experiences for all young children regardless of risk level.
