Ryan Hargrove received his doctoral degree in design from North Carolina State University in 2007. At NC State University he conducted research in design education, examining how to enhance the creative thinking of design students. Ryan currently teaches various undergraduate design studios as well as a UK Core creative thinking course. His current research involves the development of innovative teaching methods. This area of research encompasses design pedagogy, creative thinking, metacognition, and technology.
