Responsibilities: Designing and consulting on measurement systems for the projects I work on, programming in SAS and SQL, and working to manage, standardize, clean, analyze, and visualize our data. I also do a fair amount of writing about various measurement and validity issues.

Experiences: Before starting at HDI, my background was in public health, including a lot of field experience and dealing with the public. Over the years I gravitated more toward the technical end of things, both in public health and now here at HDI, where I work with education data.

Research:

Interests: Work interests include validity issues with national special education data; personal interests include family, pets, reading, and basketball (I used to play, but now mostly watch and cheer!).
