Responsibilities: Provide direct assistive technology services to clients with disabilities who are trying to obtain or maintain employment.

Experiences: I have been in the field of assistive technology for 30 years. I have had the privilege to work with KATS in the early 1990s at the Bluegrass Technology Center. From there, I went on to work for the Indiana assistive technology program. I’ve also provided services in New Hampshire, Massachusetts, the United Kingdom, Florida, and Kansas. My areas of expertise are computer access; mobility; assistive technology and durable medical equipment funding; and home modifications.

Reason: I grew up in Pike and Johnson counties. I saw people with disabilities needing help that had issues receiving services. This is why I devoted my life to helping people receive assistive technology and durable medical equipment to become more independent and successful.
