Responsibilities: Serve as Acting Executive Director for Kentucky’s designated center on disabilities. Direct employment initiatives that provide services to people who acquire an illness or injury outside of the workplace. Serve as principal investigator for a contract to deliver high quality American Sign Language Interpreting services to Deaf OVR consumers and staff.

Experiences: I have earned a master’s degree in education and a bachelor’s degree in social work from the University of Kentucky and have completed the Harvard Business Management Certificate, the Kentucky Department of Education Administrative Management Certificate, and the Kentucky Cohesive Leadership System Certificate. I have served as project director for multiple statewide, systems change grants that aim to improve the lives of people who experience disability across the lifespan.

Reason:

Research: Effective and efficient administration, collaboration, and facilitation of teamwork can enhance the success of research projects. As director of multiple federal and state funded initiatives, I have maximized fiscal and human resources to implement, evaluate, and sustain project goals and activities.

Interests: My personal interests include spending time with my family, traveling, enjoying music, performing arts and sports.
