Summer Leadership Experience Camp

The Summer Leadership Experience camp is a transitional experience camp for rising high school juniors and seniors with disabilities in Kentucky. Sponsored by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation, the camp has both in-person and virtual options for campers. Each July, in-person campers spend four days and three nights in a UK residence hall. Through information sessions, guest speakers, and hands-on activities, campers have fun practicing essential skill sets that prepare them for their advancement into a postsecondary education setting. This camp is perfect for Kentucky students with disabilities who are planning to continue their education through university, community college, trade school, an apprenticeship, or any form of specialized schooling or training with an end goal of leading to a career.
