Koeller named WKU Child Studies 2021 Alumnus of the Year

Western Kentucky University has named Stephanie Koeller the Child Studies 2021 Alumnus of the Year. Stephanie is a Professional Development Coach with Child Care Aware of Kentucky in the Two Rivers Region. She began her academic career pursuing the Kentucky Early Childhood Director’s Credential, followed by an Associate of Arts in Early Childhood, and ultimately earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Family and Consumer Sciences with a concentration in Child Studies. Stephanie serves on the WKU Child Studies Advisory Board and provides “vital connections for faculty and students with scholarships, state offices, and persons working in the field“.

The Two Rivers Team of Child Care Aware of KY is proud to congratulate Stephanie for this accomplishment and we are grateful to have her on our team. As PD Coach, she is a champion of scholars in the Two Rivers Region to promote the same scholarship program that she utilized as a child care director to further her own and her staff’s education. Her personal experience makes her a respected spokesperson for continued education and a trusted mentor to current scholars. -Jill Norris, Regional Child Care Administrator

Congratulations, Stephanie!
