Krause, Distinguished University Professor at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC) and Associate Dean for Research in the MUSC College of Health Professions; Dr. Phillip Rumrill, Director of Research, Human Development Institute, University of Kentucky.
Session description: This panel discussion focuses on the growing movement to include members of the disability community in all aspects of research. The principles of Participatory Action Research will be reviewed as well as how they apply to disability pride and self-determination. Panelists will share their experiences and perspectives as researchers with lived experience with disability.
Objectives:
Continuing Education units are approved for Physical Therapy for a category 2 course. School Psychologists may receive up to 2 CPD clock hours.
