The Kentucky Chamber Foundation’s Disability Hiring Academy, sponsored by the University of Kentucky Training Innovation Project, offers a comprehensive training program designed to equip human resource professionals and business leaders with the skills to effectively recruit, train, and retain talent from the disability community, strengthening their organizations while enhancing workplace inclusion.
Participants will gain practical strategies for:
- Recruiting and retaining employees with disabilities
- Understanding ADA requirements and accommodations
- Building a more inclusive workplace culture
- Applying universal design principles across the employee experience
- Connecting with regional resources and employer peers
