HDI Contributes to the Largest One-Day Service Event in the State of Kentucky!
The University of Kentucky’s FUSION 2015 (For Unity and Service In Our Neighborhoods) is the largest one-day service event in the state of Kentucky. In its 13th year, more than 75 community agencies and neighborhoods in the Lexington area participated, and more 1,300 faculty, staff, and students were involved in Fusion 2015 on Monday, August 24th.

Kentucky Obstetricians Receive Down Syndrome, Spina Bifida Resources From UK Human Development Institute and Partners
During the week of Aug. 25, the University of Kentucky’s Human Development Institute (HDI)/National Center for Prenatal and Postnatal Resources and the Spina Bifida Association of Kentucky (SBAK) are mailing packets of accurate, evidence-based, current, and medically reviewed information about Down syndrome and spina bifida to nearly 400 obstetricians statewide.

First HDI Fund for Excellence Grants Selected!
HDI’s Fund for Excellence Endowment was established to develop critically needed programs, services or products for which funding is currently not available. We are pleased to announce that the review committee has selected three proposals submitted by HDI staff in our first round of Fund For Excellence grant competition.
