The University of Kentucky School of Interiors and Human Development Institute are partnering to offer two Open Houses for the Universal Design Certificate. Individuals across a variety of disciplines deploy Principles of Universal Design to make products, systems, buildings, and other environments accessible to all. The Universal Design Certificate is a 12-credit hour (4 course) program, with new students beginning their course of study in the Fall 2025 semester. Required courses can be joined synchronously in person or via Zoom. This certificate is also available to University of Kentucky employees and can be covered by the Employee Education Program.
