Responsibilities: This position is responsible, on an ongoing basis, for providing direct services as part of the HDI RETAIN project. This includes all aspects of vocational case management for an active caseload of participants seeking return to work/stay at work services. In addition, provide project information and resources at community education events and assist project team leadership with outreach activities.

Experiences: Five years serving as the Director of two non-profit organizations, Madison County Special Olympics (MCSO) and the Richmond Teen Center (RTC). In addition, I served as an adjunct instructor for two years at Eastern Kentucky University teaching a therapeutic recreation course and a non-profit leadership and management course.

Reason: My passion is working with and serving individuals with disabilities and other underrepresented populations. I believe that every individual deserves and should be afforded every opportunity to achieve their personal, professional, and educational goals. I hope to serve as a driving force in helping achieve these individual goals and work as an advocate on their behalf in the community and in the state.
