DESCRIPTION:Webinar Description  \n\n\n\nThis webinar will explore the impact of grief on the mentalhealth of people with IDD. It will focus primarily onsupporting people through grief and loss. Techniques andtools will be introduced for support with healing.  \n\n\n\nLearning Objectives \n\n\n\n\nParticipants will be able to name 3 sources of grief inthe lives of people with IDD.\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants will be able to describe the memory box technique.\n\n\n\n\n\nParticipants will be able to access and utilize theGoodbye Book for facilitating healing. \n\n\n\n\nWebinar Presenter \n\n\n\nKaryn Harvey\, PhD\, has over 35 years experience workingas a clinician in the field of intellectual disabilities. Karyn isan author\, therapist\, and trainer and is a leader in trauma-informed supports for people with intellectual anddevelopmental disabilities.
